This year Chambers & Partners distinguishes our office in Spain as a leading team in commodity and shipping arbitration. The firm has been listed for Dispute Resolution (Band 5) in Spain. Clients heap praise upon head partner Albert Badia, highlighting his “amazing pre-trail preparation and ability to speed the procedure up and solve problems quickly”, as well as his “strategic approach and negotiation skills”. They say he is “perceptive, intelligent and always available”.
Chambers & Partners also features us in Shipping (Band 4) and says: “Albert Badia enters the ranking on the back of glowing client feedback. One client comments: ‘ He knows everything about contracts and charter parties and advises us on an issue, big or small – you know you can bounce ideas off him. He is always honest, and has saved us a lot of money by avoiding litigation where posible’.”
Legal 500 is presenting us as follows: “AACNI´s boutique practice is particularly known for representing ship and cargo owners in arbitration. Managing partner Albert Badia has ’good skills and understands his client´s needs’.”
