Ph.D in English Law at the Univesity of Newcastle upon Tyne (England, 2008). LL.M. in Maritime and Commercial law at Southampton University (England, 1998). “Visiting Scholar” at the University of Tulane (US, 2006). Law degree at the University of Malaga (Spain, 1996). Trainee at Directorate General of Transport at the European Commission (Brussels). Managing Partner along with Albert Badia, both Co-founders of the firm AACNI Abogados.
Felipe is an active Lawyer in practice before all Spanish Courts including High Courts, Appeal Courts and Supreme Courts. He acts as well before many international and domestic arbitration forums. He is regular contributor to various international and Spanish publications in the field of commercial law, carriage of goods, insurance and arrest of ships. He is regular lecturer for the Spanish State Institute of International Trade (ICEX) on agency, franchise, transfer of technology, distribution, international and domestic sale contracts. He has been engaged on seminars at the nautical Institute (England).

Felipe is permanent Counsel and Technical Secretariat of both the Ship Agent Association in Malaga and of the Malaga Custom’s Agents Bar. He has lectured widely in Spain and abroad, inter alia, in England, Russia, Ukraine, The Netherlands, France, and Turkey. He is current member of the Barcelona Bar Association and to its Commission of Maritime Law. He is also member of the Port Services Commission of the Malaga Port Authority and to the Malaga Chamber of Commerce Commission for the International Institute of Technology on logistics where he represents the maritime businesses
